About Escape Rooms
AM I REALLY LOCKED IN A ROOM?
North Carolina Law does not allow us to physically lock you in a space. The locking of the room is only a simulation, you can exit at any time, but the clock does not stop.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?
Our games require a minimum of 3 players and groups of up to 8 players can play at one time. Based on the game. If you have more than 10 people in your group, please call us to see if we can make arrangements to accommodate. We recommend no more than a maximum of 10 people per game.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early, or arrive a couple minutes earlier if someone in your party has not yet filled out the liability waiver. Your party will not be permitted to enter until all members are present with waivers signed (minors only need to be signed for by an adult on the adult's waiver). Games will start on time since there could be other bookings slotted after yours. Please call to reschedule your reservation if you are not able to make it on time.

DO I NEED A RESERVATION AND HOW DO I BOOK A ROOM?
Reservations are required and must be made online. If you need assistance making a reservation, please call us at (919) 438-0798.
HOW DO I BOOK MULTIPLE PARTICIPANTS FOR THE SAME BOOKING?
When searching for game availability, click on the green "Book Now" button. There will be +/- buttons to select the number of participants. The pricing will change automatically based on the number of participants.
WHAT IS THE COST?
We charge $29 per person entering an escape room, except for Sorcerer's Mistake and Grinched for which we charge $25 per person. Our VR escape room experiences cost $39 per person.
Currently, North Carolina does not require the collection of sales & use tax on escape rooms.
WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY?
Games are paid online at the time of the booking.
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
Our games are non-refundable for no-shows. You can call us to reschedule your game for a different day/time if done within 24 hours.
About Our Facility
WILL I BE PLAYING WITH OTHER PEOPLE?
At this time, because of health concerns surrounding COVID-19, all games are automatically private. You don't have to worry about playing with anyone who is not in your same booking party.
WHAT IS THE AGE REQUIREMENT?
Most of our games are best suited for ages 8 and up, because it is a possibility that children under 8 might find the content too difficult or dark. Participant(s) 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult during the game. We do not have the option to allow kids to play on their own. At least one parent/guardian must also be present in the game. Please call us prior to booking if you have any questions.
DO YOU HAVE HANDICAPPED ACCESS?
Yes, our building, game rooms, and bathroom have handicap access, but some game rooms have limited access to certain areas.
For our Cary location: there is an elevator to get to the upper level where we are located, but this elevator is currently not functional (as of May 1, 2020).
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
Cary location: Parking is available around the building and throughout MacGregor Village. There is no charge for parking in MacGregor Village.
Morehead location: Parking is available directly in front of the building.
